Rikard Jozwiak: If Georgia does not abandon the current course of action and does not show efforts to implement reforms, the European Commission cannot consider issuing a recommendation on the start of negotiations with Georgia

If Georgia does not leave the current course of action and does not show real efforts to implement key reforms, the European Commission will not be able to consider issuing a recommendation on the start of negotiations with Georgia, Rikard Jozwiak, editor of the European Bureau of "Radio Liberty" writes on the social network.

"The key line in the EU enlargement report: unless Georgia abandons the current course of action, which threatens its path to the EU, and shows real efforts to meet outstanding challenges and implement key reforms, the European Commission cannot consider recommending the start of negotiations with Georgia," writes Rikard Jozwiak.

For information, today the European Commission will publish a report on enlargement.
