Tina Bokuchava: the President is very firm on the position that the country's European future is to be saved and she will spare no effort

The President firmly stands on the position that the country's European future is to be saved and she will spare no effort, Tina Bokuchava, chairwoman of "Unity - National Movement", told journalists after meeting with President Salome Zurabishvili.

According to Bokuchava, Salome Zurabishvili is not going to cooperate with Bidzina Ivanishvili's prosecutor's office.

As she explained, the President also has the position that the case must be taken over by an international investigation.

"The conversation with the President was about the international investigation. You know that this is our request. The President also openly stated that she does not intend to cooperate with Bidzina Ivanishvili's prosecutor's office. I personally heard more than one government media asking if I would cooperate with the prosecutor's office, in case of request, and, naturally, our answer is no, because we believe that the investigation of this total fraud is possible only within the framework of an international investigation. The President also has this position, and from this point of view, it will be important for her to appeal to international partners, if she considers it necessary, because she is the only independent state institution left in the country.

We also talked to the President about the reports of the violations that the four opposition parties have drawn up jointly, which we are also going to send to the European structures, the United States of America and, in general, to international partners.

Several other specific issues were discussed, on which we will also have joint plans and action from the parties, in which the president will probably have a very important role.

There is very intensive work, coordination and consultation between us. The president is very firm on the position that the country's European future is to be saved, and he will spare no effort to save the European future of our country with united forces", Tina Bokuchava said.
