Donald Trump named Elon Musk as the head of the "Department of Government Efficiency"

US President Donald Trump announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the "Department of Government Efficiency", CNN reports.
"Together, these two great Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, reduce redundant regulations, cut wasteful spending and restructure federal agencies," Trump said.
According to him, the work of the department will be completed no later than July 4, 2026.
"Smaller government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, would be the perfect gift for America on its 250th anniversary. I am sure they will succeed! Trump said.
According to Elon Musk, the new department will be shocking to those involved in the waste of government resources.
“This will send shock waves through the system and anyone involved in government embezzlement, which is a lot of people!” Musk noted.
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's portfolio of companies includes electric car company Tesla, social media platform X, and rocket company SpaceX.
Ramaswamy is a pharmaceutical company founder who ran for the Republican presidential nomination, but later dropped out of the race and endorsed Donald Trump.
