The actions of the participants of the rally are not directed against the Russian-Abkhazian relations. On the contrary, we, as the opposition, have always emphasized the importance of fraternal and strategic ties between our countries, - this is stated in the statement of the so-called opposition of occupied Abkhazia.

According to them, Aslan Bzhania tried to use these relations for his own selfish interests and to strengthen his regime throughout his rule.

"Today, the participants of the rally gathered at the parliament building not against our allies, but to protect the national interests of Abkhazia, its natural resources and wealth, which Bzhania tried to usurp for personal gain," the statement said.

We remind you that since this morning, a protest action has been taking place near the so-called parliament of occupied Abkhazia, where the ratification of the project of the investment agreement between occupied Sukhumi and Moscow was planned. The so-called deputies did not approve the agenda and the session failed. The participants of the rally demand the "deputies" to hold a meeting and vote against the project.
