Dmitry Peskov: bilateral relations between Russia and Abkhazia are an important priority of our foreign policy

The relations between Russia and Abkhazia are the priority of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, told journalists when he answered the question of how the Kremlin perceives the tense situation in Abkhazia.
"Bilateral relations between Russia and Abkhazia are a very important priority of our foreign policy," Peskov said.
Let us remind you that the confrontation between the so-called government of occupied Abkhazia and the opposition started due to the investment agreement with Russia, which provides for the construction of apartments in occupied Abkhazia. The so-called parliament was supposed to ratify the "document" on November 15, however, due to the start of protests, it postponed the consideration of the issue. Opposition supporters occupied the so-called government buildings in Sukhumi, including the so-called presidential administration, and demanded the resignation of Aslan Bzhania.
