Khatia Dekanoidze: The representative of the opposition is being summoned to court - this is a complete absurdity, a bizarre situation - what they did not understand, what they did not see, why they did not open their eyes, is unbelievable

They tempted me and I came to talk about the absurd, it's an incredible comic situation - what they didn't understand, what they couldn't see, why they couldn't open their ears, it's unbelievable to me, - one of the leaders of the "Unity-National Movement", Khatia Dekanoidze, told the Tbilisi City Court about possible election fraud. As part of the investigation in the case, the magistrate said before the questioning before the judge.

According to Dekanoidze, she has no hope for the court, the prosecutor's office in general, or any other state institution.

The opposition leader also responded to the ongoing processes on Chavchavadze and Melikishvili avenues.

According to her, everyone who "understands what is happening in Georgia today, should protect his right on the street".

"First of all, I would like to respond to the incredible, horrible approach when our comrades and friends were dispersed early in the morning. Instead of all of us mobilizing in the face of this rigged, unbelievable situation, we have to go to court again. A few days ago, the prosecutor called me and told me that based on my statements, when I declare that the elections are rigged, I will be summoned to court. Yesterday the assistant judge called me. For me, this process is incredibly absurd, funny, comical. Especially against the background of what they do to citizens and people during raids. None of our international partner countries, none of the international organizations will recognize these elections. I, a representative of the opposition, is being summoned to court - this is complete absurdity. It is a continuation and ugly form of the regime in which we live. I fulfilled my obligation, I came to the court, I will tell the court everything I know, but I really have no hope for the court, the prosecutor's office, and in general, any state institution, as well as any citizen of Georgia. All those people who understand what is happening in Georgia today should protect their right on the street. This is very important", said Dekanoidze while talking to "TV Pirveli".

For information, today in the Tbilisi City Court, one of the leaders of "Unity National Movement", Khatia Dekanoidze, will be questioned before the magistrate judge as part of the investigation into possible election fraud.

The prosecutor's office claims that more than one representative of the Central Election Commission was interrogated within the framework of the investigation of the mentioned case, although the agency does not disclose specific names and surnames.
