Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of "Unity National Movement", appeals to the police to return the equipment that belongs to the participants of the rally and was illegally taken by them. Giorgi Vashadze made the mentioned statement at the rally on Chavchavadze avenue.

He appealed to the police not to confront the peaceful protestors with force.

"There were our pickup trucks loaded with equipment in the parking lot. When we saw the police coming, we packed it all up to shelter and use later. Now, this equipment and "pickups" are illegally at the base of the Department of Special Tasks, as we were told, in the "Butterfly" territory. We request that you return our equipment to us because this is yet another illegal action on your part and this illegal action must be stopped. I say once again, do not use force against peaceful protesters, demonstrators, this is a very important and necessary issue for us.

Today, the whole world is watching us, and believe me, it depends on our perseverance... Many people come and ask me what the West will do, first we should ask what we will do, and then we should ask what the West will do. When we freeze, then the West will also freeze. When they see our struggle, everyone will stand by us", said Giorgi Vashadze.

In addition, Giorgi Vashadze noted that fake information pages are being created, therefore he called on the public to trust only the information published on the official pages of the parties or broadcasted live by the media.
