In the occupied Abkhazia, "early presidential elections" may be held on February 15 or 16

"Early presidential elections" may be held in occupied Abkhazia on February 15 or 16, Russian state news agency TASS reports on this based on a member of the so-called Central Election Commission of occupied Abkhazia.
"Elections should be held within three months from the date of the resignation of the president. Aslan Bzhania resigned and the parliament accepted him on November 19, which means that according to the constitution, the elections should be held within three months, i.e. until February 19. Because elections in Abkhazia are always held on the weekend, it can be on Saturday, February 15 or Sunday, February 16," said a member of the so-called Central Election Commission of occupied Abkhazia.
According to him, the date of the elections should be set by the so-called Parliament.
According to "Ria Novosti", the so-called parliament may discuss the date of "parliamentary elections" on November 28.
We remind you that the so-called parliament of occupied Abkhazia supported the resignation of "President" Aslan Bzhania yesterday. Before that, local "Telegram" channels reported that Aslan Bzhania had left Abkhazia, although Bzhania himself stated in a video address that he was in the village of Tamishi. Also, a few days ago, Aslan Bzhania announced that he plans to participate in the "presidential elections".
