Natia Mezvrishvili: Resistance in all possible forms! - We are fully prepared for the issues raised by the president, there is complete unity on the part of our team, we will be in all the processes

When the issue concerns the European integration of the country, the disruption of the constitutional order and this act of treason committed by the government, we have always said that this is a supra-party issue, on which we can all talk, regardless of political differences, - one of the leaders of "Gakharia for Georgia" Natia Mezvrishvili said about this.

According to Mezvrishvili, her team will be fully involved in all processes.

"It is a very difficult day in the country's history, the "Georgian Dream" betrayed the country's constitution, the state and the people, the choice of 85% is the European choice, and today, after the election fraud, the illegitimate government officially announced a change in the country's foreign policy and refused to join the European Union - this is normal Russian special operation. Of course, when it comes to the European integration of the country, the disruption of the constitutional order and this act of treason committed by the government, we have always said that this is a supra-party issue, on which we can all talk, regardless of political differences.

The President had a very good briefing, a very good meeting was held with the representatives of the opposition parties. The main issue that she raised, and we absolutely share and I am sure there will be unity around this issue, is the holding of new elections. She said that she met with the diplomatic corps, presented them with specific demands, and we absolutely share all these demands. Resistance in all possible forms because the country is in a very difficult situation. What the President has announced, we will have complete readiness, complete unity on the part of our political team around these issues, and we will all be in this process", said Mezvrishvili.

We remind you that the meeting of the opposition parties with President Salome Zurabishvili was scheduled after the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze made a statement on the issue of negotiations with the European Union after the meeting of the parliamentary majority and the government team. In particular, according to the ruling team's decision, Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. According to the Prime Minister, Georgia also refuses any budget grant from the European Union until the end of 2028.
