Members of "Coalition for Change" were injured during the break-up of the ongoing rally on Rustaveli Avenue.
As the press office of the coalition reports, Nana Malashkhia's nose is broken, and Elene Khoshtaria's arm is probably broken.
Also according to the press service, the special forces "followed the member of the coalition Vano Tsereteli to the office and hit him on the head with a gamete". Ana Charkhalashvili is also injured, her leg is injured.
We remind you that on November 28, protests began in Tbilisi after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the decision of the ruling team that Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The participants of the rally gathered in two locations in Tbilisi - on Gorgasli Street, near the office of "Georgian Dream" and on Rustaveli Avenue, near the parliament building. Later, the rally converged in front of the Parliament, where the situation between the law enforcement officers and the participants of the rally became tense many times. Around 2:00 am, after warning the demonstrators, the police started to break up the rally on Rustaveli Avenue. The special forces use water jets and special means, including tear gas, and the so-called pepper spray against the protesters, although the demonstrators are not going to disperse and remain on a certain section of Rustaveli Avenue. There are reports about the injured, including media representatives and law enforcement officers. It is not yet known how many people were injured during the current protest.
