Tear gas fired on Rustaveli Avenue: riot police detain protesters

Tear gas was fired on Rustaveli Avenue, causing some demonstrators to require first aid. Some protesters have breathing problems. There is also a confrontation between riot police and protesters at the central entrance to the parliament.

Police forces have already detained several people at the scene, and the process is still ongoing.

The detention of the protesters is accompanied by protests from other protesters.

In addition to the central entrance to the parliament, incidents are also taking place on Chichinadze and Chitadze streets. At the moment, the situation is tense at all four entrances to the legislative body.
