According to relatives, a 22-year-old boy injured in the protest underwent surgery, but doctors were unable to complete it due to swelling of the eye socket.

The boy's aunt wrote about the injured man's health condition on social media. According to her, the boy has brain damage.

"He underwent surgery, but they were unable to complete it due to swelling of the eye socket. At this stage, he is in the intensive care unit, with an open wound and a high risk of infection. He has brain damage. The capsule hit his forehead and crushed his bone. He was put to sleep until the morning. They will see in dynamics whether they will be able to continue the operation. I hope God will not spare us," says the injured man's aunt, Eka Tirkia.

According to available information, a 22-year-old boy injured in the protest on Rustaveli Avenue is on a ventilator. He is being treated at the Ingorokva Clinic.
