Marko Mikhelson on the decision of the Constitutional Court: it is not surprising, it only confirms that the presidential institution is the only independent institution left in Georgia
The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Parliament of Estonia, Marko Mikhelson, responds to the decision of the Constitutional Court, which did not consider the constitutional claims of the president and 30 politicians regarding the recognition of the elections of October 26, 2024 as unconstitutional.
"It is not surprising. This only proves that the presidential institution is the only independent constitutional institution left in Georgia. "Georgian Dream" wants to destroy this independence on December 14," writes Marko Mikhelson.
