For the sake of the country and the people who are detained, we should not stop and continue to fight, - one of the leaders of "Coalition for Change" Elene Khoshtaria told "InterpressNews".

According to Khoshtaria, the arrests made in recent days are a sign that the government is afraid of demonstrations and its citizens.

"This is an unmistakable sign that the government is afraid of rallies, afraid of citizens, afraid of unrelenting struggle, and that's why they moved to intimidation of representatives of various fields, arrests, raids, and open Russian method of repression, but this will only bring the opposite effect, it will make more people angry. For the country and for the people who are detained, we must not stop and must continue to fight.

The rally was not violent for a single day. This action was always peaceful and principled. Police violence has met resistance from the people and will continue to do so. It will not be the case that the police attack people and we stand quietly, we will definitely respond. There will be fireworks, there will be lasers, there will also be eggs, and everything that is needed will be there for us to resist, so Kobakhidze's attempt, discrediting and telling lies do not matter. We continue the resistance movement with all legal, but very powerful means. No one is going to oppress their own citizens", said Elene Khoshtaria.
