The current government has become a systematic violent regime - today, when Georgians are risking their lives, health and safety to protect the European flag in the streets of Tbilisi and other cities of this country, it is clear that the European Union is not only called upon, but also obliged to help this heroic struggle of Georgians, - Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of the "Strong Georgia" coalition, announced this at a briefing.
According to her, she expects that "the meeting of the EU foreign ministers will make very clear assessments and take very clear measures against this bloodthirsty Russian regime."
As Samadashvili points out, no matter how much Bidzina Ivanishvili hunts the Georgian people, this intimidation tactic will not work.
"Since the last time the European Union discussed the situation created in our country, the reality in which we live in Georgia has fundamentally changed. If at the previous session it was said that the elections were rigged and the elections need to be investigated, since then, the current government of Georgia once again went beyond the constitutional limits, when it canceled the country's European future and became a systematic violent regime. The only assessment that can be made about the bloody revenge that Bidzina Ivanishvili has been carrying out against his own people in the past days is systematic torture, violation of people's rights. Therefore, it is clear that today our demand is not only related to the elections, but also related to the punishment of this systemic crime, including in the international arena. Today, when Georgians are risking their lives, health and safety to protect the European flag in the streets of Tbilisi and other cities of this country, it is clear that the European Union is not only called, but also obliged to help this heroic struggle of Georgians. The task of our communication is to provide maximum assistance to the Georgian people in this struggle," said Samadashvili.
