As the President noted, the only peaceful way out of the country's crisis is new elections.

Without justice and fair elections, there is neither peace nor any political process. That's what I'm here for, and by the way, I'm not going anywhere, I won't leave anyone, that's all they ask me. I am here and I will be here because the country at this moment definitely needs a legitimate institution, a legitimate part of the government that is actually elected and that reflects the voice of this country and this society. I am your representative with foreigners and this is a kind of legitimacy. I am also your representative inside the country.
