Representatives of literary community marching towards Parliament

Representatives of the literary sphere are holding a protest march from the Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum to the Parliament.
The protest includes writers, editors, publishers, book designers, booksellers and people connected with literature.
They plan to stop at the Galaktion Tabidze and Mikheil Javakhishvili Memorial House-Museum during the march, where they will voice their position. Ultimately, they will join the protest on Rustaveli Avenue.
The participants of the protest are carrying banners with the inscriptions: “You cannot bend the path of Ilia!”, “A book is a better weapon than an army to protect freedom”, “Language, homeland, faith - we will not give up any of them!”
They are also carrying the flags of the European Union and Georgia.
As the participants of the demonstration say, “strength is in unity” and it is together that they should be able to achieve their goals.
