Citizens have been holding protests for 23 days now.

The protesters are demanding the release of citizens detained during the protests and the appointment of new elections.

For information, the large-scale protests were sparked by the Georgian Dream's November 28 decision, according to which Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028.
