Salome Zurabishvili will have to leave office on December 29. Let's see where she will continue her life, behind bars or outside - I think she has enough sense not to violate the norms of the Criminal Code, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said when talking about the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili.
As the Prime Minister explained, Salome Zurabishvili will not be able to do anything during this one week.
"Zourabishvili does not even have a week left in her position. She will not be able to do anything during this week, although some European politicians and officials say that a lot can happen before December 29, but I assure you that nothing much will happen. The “deep state” will not win in Georgia, the radical opposition will not win. She will have to leave office on the 29th. Let's see where she will continue her life, behind bars or outside. I think she will have enough sense not to violate the norms of the Criminal Code,” the Prime Minister noted.
In addition, he explained that no one may want to send a 72-year-old woman to prison, but if she becomes entrenched in the residence, she will thereby sacrifice all those who will be with her in such a scenario.
“Let's theoretically imagine the same scenario that developed during Melia's arrest.
Let's imagine that she becomes entrenched in the president's residence, this is a crime provided for by the Criminal Code. No one may want to send a 72-year-old woman to prison, but by such an action she will sacrifice all those who will be with her in such a scenario. She will have enough sense not to violate the Criminal Code or cause anyone else to violate it, which provides for many years of imprisonment," the Prime Minister noted.
