Some participants of Chain of Unity move to Parliament area

Some of the participants of the Chain of Unity held in Tbilisi have moved to the Parliament area.

The remaining participants of the Chain of Unity are also marching from various locations of the capital to the legislative body.

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, also joined the Human Chain in Saarbrücken Square.

Today, a month after the start of the protests, the Chain of Unity was held in the cities of Georgia. Citizens formed a human chain across the country from 15:00.

For information, the citizens' protest followed the November 28 statement of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to which a decision was made not to put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The main demands of the protest participants remain unchanged - to schedule new elections and to release those detained during the protests.
