Patriarch: Our deepest condolences are due to the tragedy that occurred in the village of Saberio - we offer our prayers for the immortal souls of Emilia, Anna-Maria, Elena, Nia and Sofia

No matter how strong a person is spiritually, he must still be strengthened by the belief that death does not mean death, but rather the beginning of eternal life, - reads the condolence letter of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, in which he addresses the parents and relatives of the children who died in the fire in the village of Saberio.
According to the Patriarch, prayers will be delivered for the deceased.
“Our deepest condolences are due to the tragedy that occurred in the village of Saberio. Saying goodbye to five children at once is very painful and difficult to bear, no matter how strong a person is spiritually, but we must still be strengthened by the belief that death does not mean death, but rather the beginning of eternal life, for which we must all prepare; and this separation is temporary.
We offer our prayers for the immortal souls of Emilia, Anna-Maria, Elena, Nia and Sofia and ask the Lord to grant you consolation and the strength of prayer,” reads the Patriarch’s condolence message.
For information, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Saberio, Gali district of occupied Abkhazia, and killed five children.
