Rally underway in front of Parliament, Rustaveli Avenue blocked

A protest rally has begun in front of the Parliament. At the moment, the road on Rustaveli Avenue is blocked.

Today's rally will be joined by participants of Christmas processions from various churches in Tbilisi, who are already heading towards Rustaveli Avenue.

On the 40th day of the protest, the participants of the rally plan to meet Christmas together near the Kashueti Church.

The main demand of the demonstrators remains unchanged - to schedule new elections and release those detained during the protests.
