The discussion will likely focus on what additional steps Germany can take concerning the current situation in Georgia, said Zurab Japaridze, one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change," speaking to the media ahead of his meeting with Michael Roth, Chair of the Bundestag's Foreign Affairs Committee.
According to Japaridze, Roth is well-informed about ongoing developments in Georgia and is actively engaged in the processes.
"Michael Roth may soon leave his position, but that does not mean his connections will end. He is a person who has held high-ranking positions for years and is deeply interested in the situation in Georgia and the Caucasus region in general. He plans to continue working in this direction.
His visit is very important. I don’t think he lacks information, as he is involved in these processes on a daily basis.
The discussion will likely focus on what more Germany can do to address the situation in Georgia," said Japaridze.
