Salome Zurabishvili: Mr. Ivanishvili, society always wins!

"On one side, there is the regime, and on the other side, there is society – Mr. Ivanishvili, society always wins!" – this is what the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, stated in a video address.

She addressed the founder of the "Georgian Dream" party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, and emphasized that there is an attempt to turn the ongoing processes in the country into a civil confrontation.

"I want to tell Mr. Ivanishvili that the attempt, which is clearly being made to provoke something even more intense, to turn this into, or at least scare us into believing that this will turn into a civil confrontation, is unimaginable. Because once again, there are not two sides in Georgia. There is society, and there are those who are the bearers of violence, whether they are deputies or private individuals who give themselves the freedom to broadcast messages of violence on social media. These people are also participants in the violent regime. So, on one side, there is the regime, and on the other side – society. In this case, Mr. Ivanishvili, society always wins," said Zurabishvili.
