Mzia Amaglobeli: I am not going to accept the regime's agenda - I am on hunger strike, freedom is more valuable than life

I am on hunger strike, freedom is more valuable than life - fight before it is too late, fight everywhere, wherever you are - do not allow Georgia to be isolated from the civilized world, - the founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti, Mzia Amaglobeli, says in a letter sent from the penitentiary.

As Amaglobeli states, her arrest is the result of "repressive, treacherous, violent processes directed against humanity, speech and expression".

"The fact that I am accused today is the result of those repressive, treacherous, violent processes directed against humanity, speech and expression, which have been developing for the past year and are gaining a foothold in our daily lives, like a dictatorship. I am not going to accept the regime's agenda. I am on hunger strike, freedom is more valuable than life. In my opinion, any citizen, who wants to live in a democratic, fair, European, free from Russian influence Georgia, can appear in my place. Fight before it is too late. Fight wherever you are, in the country or abroad, in the village or in the city, in the streets or auditoriums, in public and work spaces. Be brave, take care and strengthen each other. Do not allow Georgia to be isolated from the civilized world,” Amaglobeli says in a letter published by Netgazeti.
