"Stateless" – this is how the Georgian people describe the radical opposition, which sacrifices the interests of its country for the amorphous "values" of the pseudo-liberal international, – this is how the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, responds to the words of Georgia's fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, who said that if America wants to be first and strong, a small country with 3.7 million people cannot humiliate it.
"This is another level of betrayal. The former president of Georgia speaks about 'her' own country as if Georgia were a foreign state, a pawn in a distant game: 'If America wants to be first, wants to be strong, a small country with 3.7 million people cannot humiliate it' – she refers to the citizens of Georgia as humiliatingly," writes Papuashvili.
According to him, what the opposition fails to appreciate is that true partnership arises from mutual respect, not submission.
It is worth reminding that the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, said in an interview with journalist Alex Raufoğlu that "if America wants to be first, wants to be strong, then a country with 3.7 million people in the Caucasus cannot humiliate it."
