According to lawyer Lasha Tkesheladze, civil activist Isako Devidze has started a hunger strike

Lawyer Lasha Tkesheladze has reported that civil activist Isako Devidze has begun a hunger strike.
According to Tkesheladze, Devidze has been subjected to police violence multiple times and has also faced verbal abuse.
"Isako Devidze was detained on the street and placed in a car by individuals in civilian clothing. It was only after he was inside that they told him they were police officers. They did not allow him to call anyone and took away his phone.
He told me that once he stepped out of the car, he tried to distance himself from the officers to prevent them from planting anything on him. However, he was immediately confronted by another individual who arrested him. When they told him to go home, he was assaulted in the entrance of his building. Isako opened the door himself, and the officers entered, started searching his home, and, after seemingly finding nothing, began cursing at him. When he asked why they were insulting him, they responded with ‘Why are you talking so much, boy?’ and physically assaulted him again.
He told me he covered his face with his hands, so there are no visible injuries on his face, but he insists he was assaulted multiple times. They questioned him about the organizers of the next day’s protests, what training they had undergone, and other similar matters.
Most importantly, Isako Devidze has started a hunger strike. He is expressing solidarity with all political prisoners," Tkesheladze stated.
