Protests continue, Rustaveli Avenue blocked

The protest rally has resumed on Rustaveli Avenue. On the 68th day of the protest, the protesters gathered in front of the Parliament and have already blocked Rustaveli Avenue.

The citizens' demands remain unchanged - to call new elections and release those detained during the rallies.

The protesters are chanting: "Fire the oligarchy! Freedom to the regime's prisoners."

They have brought banners with various contents to the site, as well as Georgian and European Union flags. Police are mobilized at the site.

In parallel with the capital, protests are also taking place in several cities of Georgia.
