The first plenary session of the spring session ended immediately after Mikheil Kavlashvili's speech: the majority did not take advantage of the opportunity to speak

After the parliamentary address of Mikheil Kavlashvili, elected to the presidential post by the electoral college, the ruling majority did not take advantage of the opportunity to speak.

The first plenary session of the spring session ended immediately after Kavlashvili's speech. According to the Parliament's regulations, after the president's address, the chairpersons of the factions and the leader of the parliamentary majority are supposed to speak. They are allowed a 10-minute address.

Apart from the chairman of the “Georgian Dream” faction and the leader of the majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the political group “People's Power” also had the right to use the parliamentary tribune, but no one spoke after Kavlashvili's address.

The Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, thanked Kavlashvili for his speech and the assessments he made, and with that, the session of Parliament was closed.
