Judge releases Giorgi Kadagidze from the courtroom – Hearing postponed

Judge Nino Enukidze has released former President of the National Bank, Giorgi Kadagidze, from the courtroom after he was administratively detained during a protest march on the embankment.

As he left the courtroom, Kadagidze remarked, "We'll make it to Rustaveli as well."

Specifically, the judge granted the defense lawyers' motion to postpone the hearing.

The next session on the case is scheduled for February 7 at 14:00.

At the beginning of the hearing, the defense attorneys requested a postponement, stating that they needed time to review the case materials.

According to lawyer Shota Tutberidze, they received the case files only a few minutes before the hearing, so they require additional time to examine the evidence presented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and to gather witnesses.
