"Impunity and injustice must end, and unjustly detained individuals must be released," – the Danish Ambassador to Georgia, Anne Toft Sørensen, wrote on her X page after meeting with the families and relatives of those detained and imprisoned during the protests.

"Today’s meeting revealed painful, personal stories from families & friends to detainees regarding police brutality, unnecessary pre-trial detentions and unjust or excessive charges. Impunity & injustice must end and those unjustly detained released," Sørensen wrote.
