Mikheil Kavelashvili, elected to the position of President by the Electoral College, has appointed Natia Turnava, who was nominated by the National Bank Board to the position of President of the National Bank of Georgia.

As stated in the information released by the National Bank, the National Bank Board unanimously decided to nominate Natia Turnava as a candidate for President of the National Bank at its meeting held today.

Natia Turnava has held the positions of First Vice-President and Acting President of the National Bank since June 2023. She has been a member of the Board of the National Bank of Georgia since June 2022.
