At the founding national congress, the "Georgian Public Assembly" was established.
The congress was held at "Theatre Workshop 42."
The Public Assembly will unite various social groups, aiming to enable citizens to make significant decisions collectively, overcome crises through peaceful and strategic means, and create mechanisms that will help the country avoid similar crises in the future.
According to the organizers, citizens will have the opportunity to join relevant working groups, engage in discussions, analyze important issues, and strengthen public pressure through their efforts.
All interested individuals and groups can join the Assembly by signing a memorandum.
As stated in the memorandum, the current political system, without transformation, is unable to resolve the ongoing crisis, restore democratic processes, and instead generates only negative development scenarios.
The memorandum also emphasizes the importance of returning to the country’s constitutional-legal framework and its European integration path, as well as the necessity of peacefully resolving the current political crisis and holding new, fair, and free elections.
