Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the World Governments Summit

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, will participate in the World Governments Summit.

According to the information released by the government administration's press service, the summit will be held from February 11 to 13 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

"The Prime Minister of Georgia will address the participants of the World Governments Summit on February 11. The Prime Minister traveled to Dubai with a delegation that includes First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Justice Rati Otskhelidze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Jorjoliani.

The main theme of the 2025 World Governments Summit is 'Building Future Governments,' and it has more than 6,000 participants. The summit brings together representatives from various sectors worldwide to discuss international cooperation and innovative ways to tackle challenges. These include heads of governments, leaders of international organizations and the private sector, as well as leading experts.

The 2025 summit will involve over 30 heads of state and government, more than 80 international organizations, and government delegations from 140 countries. The program of the 12th summit is focused on six key thematic areas: effective governance and accountability; financing the future and the global economy; climate and sustainable cities; a people-centered future and development of opportunities; transformation of global health; emerging trends and the future," the statement reads.
