Protesters block roadway on Rustaveli Avenue

Protesters have blocked a roadway on Rustaveli Avenue.

Despite the resistance of law enforcement officers, the demonstrators managed to block the road.

They were chanting: "Freedom to political prisoners, fire to the oligarchy!"

The protesters also demanded the release of Mzia Amaglobeli, the head of Netgazeti and Batumelebi, who has been on a hunger strike for the 31st day in protest.

On the 76th day of continuous protests, the protesters are demanding the appointment of new elections.
