Zurab Chkhaidze: Mzia Amaghlobeli's health condition is stable, and the monitoring process continues at the clinic

Mzia Amaghlobeli's health condition is stable, and the monitoring process continues at the clinic, according to Zurab Chkhaidze, the clinical director of "Vivamedi," who spoke to "Interpressnews" about the health status of the founder of "Batumelebi," Mzia Amaghlobeli.

"Mzia Amaghlobeli's health condition remains unchanged and stable. The monitoring process continues at the clinic," said Zurab Chkhaidze.

Additionally, Zurab Chkhaidze responded to a statement by Mzia Amaghlobeli's lawyer, Maia Mtsariashvili, who claimed that Amaghlobeli had not been weighed at "Vivamedi" and was not undergoing weight monitoring. Chkhaidze called this information false but did not specify how much weight she had lost after 34 days of hunger strike.

"Of course, her weight is being monitored. Maia Mtsariashvili should verify her claims before making statements," said Zurab Chkhaidze.

For reference, Mzia Amaghlobeli was initially transferred from the penitentiary facility to "Vivamedi" for medical examinations. She has been on a hunger strike for 34 days.

Mzia Amaghlobeli was arrested under Article 353¹ of the Criminal Code, which refers to assault on a police officer. During a protest near the main police department in Batumi, she slapped the head of the local police, Irakli Dgebuadze.
