Mzia Amaglobeli’s colleagues and supporters holding demonstration near VivaMedi clinic

In support of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of the publishing house Batumelebi and Netgazeti, her colleagues and supporters are holding a demonstration near the VivaMedi clinic.

As the Executive Director of the Ethics Charter, Lia Chakhunashvili, stated in a conversation with journalists, Amaglobeli’s life is in danger and her condition may worsen at any time.

“We have gathered once again to give Mzia a voice and tell her that she is very precious and important to us. We need her healthy and strong in our common struggle for Georgia’s European future. With this demonstration, we are telling the decision-makers that they have no reason to keep Mzia in prison. She is a hostage of the regime, an illegal prisoner, this is clear to everyone who has read the case materials. Mzia’s life is truly in danger, she has been on a hunger strike for 35 days and her condition may worsen at any moment”, she said.
