Civil activist Davit Puturidze alleges he was assaulted on the street

According to civil activist Davit Puturidze, he was assaulted on the street.
As the activist says, the attackers were unknown persons, although he can recognize them.
“I left the house, I had to go to work. I went out and there was a tall, thin guy standing on the street, and there was a guy who was slightly shorter than me. A masked man was standing near the barrier. This short guy waved at me while I was talking on the phone, telling me to drop the phone. I started to resist and something hit me from behind and I fell. I covered my face as they were beating me probably for two minutes. I didn’t know any of them, but if I see them now, I will recognize them. They left the area by dark gray Mercedes.
I heard one curse. There was a fourth person with them, the driver. I think this is associated with my political activity, I am active in rallies”, he said.
According to him, he has not called the police, as they “would not have any reaction”.
