Protest continues on Rustaveli Avenue – Traffic blocked

The protest in front of Parliament has resumed, with demonstrators blocking Rustaveli Avenue.

Protesters are chanting slogans such as: "Call for elections, we won’t stop," "Police everywhere, justice nowhere," "No justice, no peace," and "Down with oligarchy."

Demonstrators have brought various banners, as well as Georgian and EU flags.

On the 85th day of protests, participants have gathered outside the legislative building with unchanged demands – the announcement of new elections and the release of individuals detained during previous demonstrations.

A parallel protest is also taking place in front of the Public Broadcaster, from where demonstrators will later march toward Rustaveli Avenue.
