Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Badra Gunba on his victory in the so-called "presidential elections" in occupied Abkhazia.

"Dear Badra Zurabovich, please accept my sincere congratulations on your election as the 'President of the Republic of Abkhazia.' I hope that the strengthening of friendly and allied relations between Russia and Abkhazia will continue for the benefit of our brotherly peoples," reads Putin’s congratulatory letter.

As a reminder, the second round of the so-called "presidential elections" was held yesterday in occupied Abkhazia, in which, according to the so-called "CEC," Badra Gunba was declared the winner.
