Irakli Kobakhidze departed for an official visit to Uzbekistan

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has departed for an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This information was disseminated by the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

According to their statement, within the framework of the official visit, meetings are scheduled between Irakli Kobakhidze and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, as well as the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the legislative body and the Chairperson of the Senate.

"In Tashkent, with the participation of government members from both countries, the 10th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan will be held.

Irakli Kobakhidze traveled to the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation that includes the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili; the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Irakli Karseladze; the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili; the Minister of Sports, Shalva Gogoladze; and the Head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani," the statement reads.
