The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has traveled to Turkmenistan on an official visit. This information is shared by the administration of the Government of Georgia.
According to their statement, a welcoming ceremony will be held for Irakli Kobakhidze at Ashgabat International Airport.
During his visit to Turkmenistan, Irakli Kobakhidze will have a face-to-face meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, tomorrow, March 7.
"As part of the official visit, extended-format negotiations will take place between the members of the governments of Georgia and Turkmenistan, led by the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and the Deputy Chair of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, after which agreements on cooperation in various fields will be signed between sectoral agencies.
Irakli Kobakhidze is traveling to Turkmenistan with a delegation, which includes First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Sports Shalva Gogoladze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani," the statement says.
