I know from the prosecutor's office that they are now preparing to bring new charges against me for some violations. I am ready for anything, I will exchange this into the only request - to lift the seizure of the funds and allow the fund to continue the activities for which it was created, - Nanuka Zhorzholiani, the founder of the Nanuka’s Fund, stated.

Nanuka Zhorzholiani is appealing to the Prosecutor General of Georgia, Giorgi Gabitashvili, to lift the seizure of the "Nanuka’s Fund", saying that the said funds will be used only for socially vulnerable people, children who are fighting for their lives.

“The accusations that are being made against me verbally are political. I am appealing to Gabitashvili: I make a public promise that the money that you have seized from the Nanuka’s fund, which is 400 thousand GEL, will be transferred neither to the prisoners, nor to their family members. I was not paying fines anyway, this money will be spent only on socially vulnerable people, on children who are fighting for their lives. Please prove to everyone that people’s lives are important to you, allow this fund to continue helping children.

If you do not do this, I will assume that I am the problem for you with my fund and my activities, the life of no child, the health of no child is of any importance. Now you have an alternative, to create your own fund and help all the children who write to me, and to help them promptly, as we used to do, not to put them in a queue. I am sure that we probably made a lot of technical mistakes, we were in a hurry to help people and a lot of documents were sent only after that. The main thing is who these funds went to.
