As Chikvaidze notes, he knew that he was supposed to be transported to today's trial by wheelchair, but an escort came to him and told him that he had to return to the procedure room, where they did another set of tests. According to him, "suddenly, the chief doctor told him" that he would not be able to attend the trial.

“Today I was prepared and knew that I would be taken be Penitentiary Institution No. 18 in a wheelchair to attend the trial, for which I had been preparing psychologically and morally since March 11, despite the fact that my health condition was not conducive. As agreed, a special adapted transport arrived, they took me to the car, I was accommodated and we prepared to leave. Suddenly, one of the escorts came and told me that I had to return to the procedure room, where they took another set of tests. Suddenly, the chief doctor told me that I would not be able to attend the trial, which irritated me.

I asked to be taken to the trial as agreed, this dialogue turned into shouting and a fight, during which the director of Institution No. 18 also got involved, and he also supported the chief doctor.

This tense situation caused my high blood pressure. After that, the director of the institution told me that they would hold a trial there and bring the two characters of this unjust circus, the judge and the prosecutor, into a closed environment.

Then he told the guard to take me back and they took me against my will.

There is no longer any doubt in my mind that the prison administration is a participant in this process in the same way as the prosecutor and the judge. The goal was also clear, that they did not want the public to see in public what condition I was in and what I would say in public.

As a sign of protest, along with the hunger strike, I made a new and firm decision to prohibit any kind of medical research and treatment by the doctors of the 18th institution, because I do not feel safe in their hands.
