The leader of the "Coalition for Change," Nika Melia, comments on the attendance of former Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze at the temporary parliamentary investigative commission session studying the activities of the "National Movement" government and states that "the time will come, and the public will learn many things, with specific facts."
He writes this on social media:
"Grigol Vashadze and Tsulukiani reminded me of March, April, and May of 2022... they reminded me of the 'Georgian Dream' and Grigol Vashadze's visits to Mikheil Saakashvili. Only a very narrow circle knew at the time, behind the scenes, about the ongoing events; the time will come, and the public will learn many things, with specific facts; this matter will be significant, explaining many things and naming many events correctly," writes Nika Melia.
For reference, the fifth session of the temporary investigative commission of the Georgian Parliament, studying the activities of the regime and political figures in power from 2003 to 2012, focuses on the situation in Georgia's occupied territories from 2004-2008 and the August 2008 war. Paata Davitaya, Grigol Vashadze, and Mikheil Karelidze have already been heard during the session. Also invited are Irakli Okruashvili, Tamaz Bestayev, and Zurab Noghaideli.
