Protest continues outside Parliament – Rustaveli Avenue remains blocked

The protest rally outside the Parliament continues. Rustaveli Avenue remains closed to traffic.

The protest in front of the legislative body has entered its 133rd day.

The demands of the protesters remain unchanged: the announcement of new elections and the release of those detained during the rallies.

In parallel with the protest, a film screening is planned at 9:00 PM in front of First School. The film is titled: "The Monster Is Not Afraid of a United Georgia."

For reference, citizens spent the night at the April 9 Memorial in front of the Parliament of Georgia.

Throughout the day, there were several confrontations between protest participants and public officials, who were attempting to approach the memorial and lay flowers.
