Protesters block Rustaveli Avenue

Protesters on Rustaveli Avenue near the Georgian Parliament have blocked the road.

Protesters have brought EU and Georgian flags to the scene. They are chanting "Antsukhelidze is immortal," "Glory to the heroes," and "Georgia."

Patrol police are also mobilized in the area.

Protesters attempted to block Rustaveli Avenue several hours ago, but law enforcement officers did not allow them to do so.

For information, today is the 136th day of the continuous protest. The protesters' demands remain unchanged - new parliamentary elections and release of those detained during the protests.
