12-day administrative detention of Levan Zazadze followed by commotion in court

Tbilisi City Court has ordered 12 days of administrative detention for Levan Zazadze, who was detained on administrative charges during a protest rally a few days ago. The decision was met with discontent from his relatives and friends.

A person who used obscene language was expelled from the courtroom after the announcement of the decision. After that, a physical altercation occurred between the court security employees and citizens, during which one person fainted.

Law enforcement officers are mobilized on the scene and are trying to defuse the situation.

Levan Zazadze was arrested 2 days ago during a rally on Rustaveli Avenue.
