"I had the happiness and honor to take part in the country’s development – we implemented very important projects. It can be said that the country has reached a qualitatively higher level of development, which, of course, will continue," said former Minister of Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze.

He thanked the representatives of Georgian Dream and Rezo Sokhadze, who will replace him as minister, and wished him success in his work.

"First of all, Mr. Prime Minister, thank you very much for such a high evaluation and kind words. I had the happiness and honor to take part in the country’s development. We implemented very important projects, and naturally, I want to take this opportunity to thank Bidzina Ivanishvili and the entire Georgian Dream team for this opportunity. The results we achieved are, of course, of great significance. It can be said that the country has reached a qualitatively higher level of development, which will certainly continue and become even more advanced and successful.

Naturally, it would not have been possible to achieve these goals and fulfill these tasks without unified effort and teamwork. I want to sincerely thank the government team under the leadership of the Prime Minister, each of my fellow ministers, and their deputies. Also, every person in the ministries who was actively involved. These achievements were made possible by their efforts.

I also thank the parliamentary team led by Shalva Papuashvili and every MP who was very actively involved. Many thanks to every person and professional who worked and still works at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, with whom we carried out this work side by side. Of course, I want to thank the Roads Department, the Municipal Development Fund, the United Water Supply Company, the Solid Waste Management Company, every contractor, and every professional who carried out their work with dignity, integrity, and honesty—thanks to whom we have overcome this stage of unprecedented project development.

All of this continues, and I naturally wish great success to Mr. Rezo, considering the great importance of these projects. Many are ongoing, and many new ones are planned. Therefore, I wish great success to you, our country, and our entire team.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, and also to those who provided constructive criticism to help us become even better," said Irakli Karseladze.
