There is a commotion in the Tbilisi City Court, where the trial of Tornike Skhvitaridze is to be held.

The reason for this is the size of the courtroom, since those wishing to attend the hearing cannot enter, they are demanding that the courtroom be changed and the police officers in the hall be removed.

Tornike Skhvitaridze is the brother of Saba Skhvitaridze, who is being detained on charges of attacking police officer Mirian Kavtaradze. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also charges Tornike Skhvitaridze with insulting Mirian Kavtaradze under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

It is not yet known whether the Ministry of Internal Affairs will request detention as an administrative penalty, since the Ministry of Internal Affairs requested the use of administrative detention for Miranda Baghaturia and Ana Kurashvili within the same case.
